Tools to Monitor and Improve Health

Once you know where you are weight, PH etc. then you can make a plan to get to where you want to be.

1) Scale
2) Thermometer
3) PH Strips
4) Blood Pressure Monitor
5) Multistix 10 SG Urine Test Strips.

1) Scale, not just any scale but one that tracks weight, body fat %, bone mass, BMI, water %

I use the Health o meter BFM884DQ-60, just be sure to use on a flat hard surface (not a carpet).
Another brand I have used is Tanita.
If you just want to check your body fat % a cheaper option is here.

2) Thermometer, you can get a cheap one, for under $5, but if you are impatient then spend a few dollars for one with 10 second or less readings.

4) Blood Pressure Monitor, spend the extra for one that is automatic.
I could not find the model I used in the past, however here is a similar model.

d) Monitor results (weight, PH etc.)

I use a simple spreadsheet and word processor. However you may prefer to write on paper or enter the information online.

If you prefer recording online you may want to use a site like:
Also take a look at a food diary and the nutritional information of the food you eat.

If you prefer not to record everything you eat then plan a menu, calculate the nutritional value of the food (fat, calories, carbohydrates, protein, fiber etc.) then stick to the plan.
Now that you have the tools use them and you will be surprised at your improvement.
Read books and articles on health and form an informed opinion.

Adjust your plan as results and new knowledge indicate.

Here is a article with a list of normal measures for PH, body fat % etc.
