What Can I Do to Prevent Bad Breath?

- Brush your teeth twice a day
- Brush your teeth for a minimum of 2 minutes
- Change your tooth brush 3 - 4 times a month
- Clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner.
- Floss
- Eat well, less sugar, enough calcium and vitamin D
- Stop smoking/chewing tobacco-based products.
- Drink lots of water, preferable without fluoride or chlorine
- Avoid eating strong foods like onions, garlic and spices
- Avoid drinking liquids like coffee and alcohol
- Keep a log of the foods you eat.
